Rob and Kathy Johnson
Equipping Servants to Disciple the Nations
Rob and Kathy have served as missionaries and in South Texas and Mexico for over forty years. For many years, Rob served as the main teacher in the Bible Training Center located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, MX. In 2005, they moved to León, Guanajuato, in central Mexico, and used this location as a base to travel extensively throughout the country, from the southern states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, to the northern states of Tamaulipas and Nuevo León.
Since 2020, Rob and Kathy have lived in Georgia. In 2022, Rob had opportunity to teach a four-month Sunday school class on missions at their church, Prince en Español. He also teaches students in Mexico over Zoom. From time to time, he travels to Mexico to teach, encourage pastors and mobilize churches for missions.
Kathy serves on the worship team in their church. She has also helped with an English as a Second Language class, which has given her contact with Afghan refugees and other immigrants.
They live near three of their children in Georgia and one daughter lives in Illinois. They have twelve grandchildren on earth and one in heaven.
